In the summer of 2022, REACH Literacy partnered with Professor Kyle L. Roberson, Ph.D. of Texas Tech University. Dr. Roberson asked REACH to be part of a literacy study in association with the South Dakota Department of Corrections. The project had incarcerated inmates recording stories for their children. REACH curated books to match the stories for the children of these inmates and assisted in mailing the books across the country. We welcome further collaboration on projects that help families stay connected while dealing with incarceration.
